Q: Can I sit on SweetCheeks® more than once per day?
A: "Yes. However, we recommend that you get to know your body's response to using SweetCheeks® before you increase sitting time. We recommend just thirty minutes per day to begin. People have different degrees of cellulite and your results may vary. See how your body responds to the increased local circulation and learn what is comfortable but also gives you the best results."
Q: Why is the length of time to sit on SweetCheeks® only 30 minutes a day? Can I sit for a longer period of time?
A: "Yes, you can sit on SweetCheeks® for longer than 30 minutes, however, it's best not to sit for more than one hour for any given time. Use SweetCheeks® as a reminder to get up and stretch after an hour of sitting."
Q: If I sit on SweetCheeks® for thirty minutes, how long will the effects last?
A: "It varies from person to person depending on the degree of cellulite and other health factors such as diet and exercise. But customers find that they get hours to overnight benefits so we recommend using it at least once per day. We have found that those folks with little to no cellulite still get the benefits of increased blood flow to the area."
Q: Does it hurt?
A: "Most customers describe being surprised at how comfortable it feels and they forget it's there after a few minutes. If you are uncomfortable try layering with clothing or sitting for shorter periods of time."
Q: Can I sit on SweetCheeks® while wearing my jeans or will that interfere with my results?
A: You can sit on SweetCheeks® wearing your regular clothing, however, the results might be better wearing looser fitting and/or thinner layer of clothing."
Q: After I am sitting for about 15 minutes or so, the mat feels warm. Is this okay?
A: "Yes. You should feel the warmth to areas of your skin that are in direct contact with the mat. That tells you that the massage is increasing the local circulation. The mat is made of a non-porous material that has the benefit of trapping and reflecting your body heat. That along with the increased local circulation gives you the warm feeling."
Q: Should I be still while sitting on the mat?
A: "Normal and purposeful movement enhances the massaging effect while you sit. It's about letting the mat create the impressions on your B-Half and to sit for a period long enough without getting up and down to allow the skin temperature to increase. The skin temperature will increase after just 15 minutes of sitting. That is the goal!"
Q: What if I have circulatory or vein problems, can I still use the product?
A: "Get medical advice if you have any circulatory or vein problems or open sores to your skin before use. Persons with blood clotting disorders, including those who bruise easily, should not use this product without their physician's permission. Users with any skin conditions that leave the skin damaged (psoriasis, sunburned, skin infections, cuts, bruises) should not use SweetCheeks® until and unless these conditions are no longer present. If you take any blood thinner medications, do not use this product and seek medical advice before using it."
Q: Can I use SweetCheeks® for muscle aches and pains or muscle spasms in my back?
A: "Yes. SweetCheeks® has been used successfully to give temporary relief of both minor aches and pains and reduction of muscle spasms. Try it out and let us know how you do! Q: Can I fall asleep on SweetCheeks®?
A: "No, Sleeping Booty! Just sitting on the mat for a half hour is sufficient. Prolonged sitting on the mat for a continuous period is not recommended. Just like sleeping on a rock wall, or with an object sticking into your body, it may cause a breakdown of your skin, especially if you are older and/or have thinning or fragile skin."
Q: Will SweetCheeks® work on my 'Ba-Thigh?'
A: "This question was asked by one of our earliest Users. Butt, we didn't know what a Ba-Thigh was back then, so we asked. A Ba-Thigh, it was explained to us, is that piece of your B-half that doesn't know whether it wants to be part of your backside or thigh! And yes, while we don't suggest that using SweetCheeks® will change your overall anatomy, it does give your B-Half the benefits of the daily massage! Q: How can I clean and care for my SweetCheeks® mats?
A: "The SweetCheeks® Massage Mat can be cleaned with mild detergent, rinsing thoroughly and air drying. SweetCheeks® is dishwasher safe."
Q: Does it contain Latex? I am allergic to latex products.
A: SweetCheeks® is not made with natural rubber latex, however, the FDA warns those with latex allergies and sensitivities to be cautious, as there is no test to identify the presence of natural rubber latex proteins. If any skin irritations, allergic or adverse reactions occur, discontinue use immedeiatly and notify your physician."
Q: I do not have much cellulite, but I like the idea of increased circulation. Is there anything I need to know about using SweetCheeks®?
A: "Lucky you! Yes. People without cellulite or little cellulite can still get the benefits of increased local circulation. Whenever you have more blood flow you get more nutrients and oxygen. Collagen and elastin love that!"
Q: Can I just sit on one of the two panels to get the same mats to see results?
A: "Yes and No. If you are on a plane and can only fit one panel on your seat, by all means, use one. But, most of the time, the more skin contact with the textured surface of the mat, the better the result."
Q: I notice that the last 2 rows of the SweetCheeks® mats have protrusions that are lower than the rest. Why is that?
A: "The lower protrusions are designed to decrease the pressure to the back of your knee area, or popliteal space. This design helps to compliment the circulation. Not crossing your legs at your knees is another way to always opt for the best circulation to the area, too."
Q: Sitting on SweetCheeks® is like putting a princess on a pea! What can I do to make this work for me?
A: "Well, interestingly, this was the original thinking of the company – get something to be a pseudo-irritant to the area to increase blood flow. We actually called the working prototype, 'Peas of Ass'. But the marketing team objected and we then changed it to 'SweetCheeks®.' Just experiment with wearing clothing until you achieve the right mix of comfort, feeling the warmth and seeing the impressions. Every Princess is different. No two peas are alike even in the same pod."
Q: Can I put SweetCheeks in the freezer to burn more calories!?
A: "Clever you! Anytime your body has to work burn more calories and if you chill your body, it has to work harder to keep the temperature within a normal range. Even using ice in your drinks makes your body work harder to normalize the temperature - work = more calories burned. So freeze your SweetCheeks and let your body heat them up. Don’t get frost bite! Put some clothes on. Feels good for back aches, too."
